Text to Mesh
Describe the object. Get clean, scale-aware geometry directly in your scene. Quads by default, with topology hints.
GeometryA focused toolkit for generating, refining, and importing 3D content without leaving the viewport. Built for artists who care about the result.
An animated preview of the Text to 3D module — type or pick a prompt and watch a mesh take shape. No download required.
Visual concept of the Text to 3D workflow. Real generation runs inside Blender.
Each tool is built around a single Blender task. Use them on their own, or chain them into a workflow that fits how you already work.
Describe the object. Get clean, scale-aware geometry directly in your scene. Quads by default, with topology hints.
GeometryDrop a reference, sketch, or photo. Generate a mesh that matches silhouette and proportion, ready to refine.
GeometryAlbedo, roughness, normal, height — generated as a coherent set and wired into a Principled BSDF graph.
ShadingConvert dense scans into production topology with edge flow suggestions. Edit, lock, and re-bake.
MeshSeam proposals, automatic unwrap, and pack tuning — with a preview before any change is committed.
MeshAuthor lighting from a written brief. Spherical, seamless, and exposure-balanced for Cycles or EEVEE.
LightingBuild moodboards inside Blender. Pin references, group by theme, and reuse them as prompts.
WorkflowEvery result is saved to a local library with metadata, prompts, and seeds. Iterate without losing your work.
WorkflowThe addon is built around three phases. Each phase stays inside Blender, uses native data blocks, and never forces an external app.
Write a prompt or drop an image. Set scale, polycount target, and style references. Save as a preset.
Generate variants in parallel. Compare side by side, lock parts you like, regenerate the rest. No file juggling.
Bring the chosen result into your scene as a real mesh with materials, UVs, and a clean modifier stack.
AI Toolkit installs as a native addon. It uses Blender operators, respects undo, supports the Asset Browser, and ships with keymaps you can edit.
Drag the handle to compare a reference image with the generated, game-ready mesh — same object, same angle.
A small selection of work generated, refined, and rendered inside Blender by artists using the addon.
Install steps, tutorials, API setup, and field-tested recipes. The hub is structured so new guides slot in without breaking the system.
Download, enable in Preferences, and verify the connection. About 4 minutes.
SetupBring your own API key. We never proxy your prompts. Storage and rotation explained.
WorkflowA repeatable path from brief to a clean, UV-unwrapped, textured asset.
WorkflowKeep what works. Regenerate the rest. A non-destructive iteration loop.
ReferenceEvery operator the addon registers, with its arguments and keymap entry.
ReferenceCommon errors, performance tips, and recovery from failed generations.
Generation requires an AI provider, so an internet connection is needed for that step. Everything else — managing assets, refining meshes, browsing the library — works offline.
You bring your own key. The addon supports a small set of providers per modality. Keys are stored locally and never proxied through us.
Geometry is generated as quads with topology hints. Materials use the standard Principled BSDF. Heavy results can be retopologized in one click.
That depends on the provider you use. The addon does not add restrictions on top. Check your provider's terms.
No. The addon is designed for Blender, and we have no plans to dilute that focus.
